"For a second I thought I could give up my half of the deal, but I think it's beneficial for both of us. I don't want to be alone again. You want an extra body around to protect you and Gwen. Sex seems to be a hot-button issue. Those that don't have it completely lose their minds, and I don't think you want me hanging around as one of those lunatics. Unless you have a better option, this deal is probably the best middle ground for the both of us," Lea seems to nod as if accepting your argument.

"And If one of us does come up with a better idea?" she asks with a perfect poker face.

"Then we talk it out, and see where it goes. I'm... pretty conflicted about this whole thing to be honest," You pause to collect your thoughts, "Right now the two fates worse than **** to me would be being one of those things I've seen come running around," the thought of the man you met before hiding in the mall makes you shudder, "and being alone. You and Gwen hating my very presence count for that last one too," Lea nods again, as if considering a weighty issue.

"Alrighty Alex, let's add this deal to the problems we need to fix eventually," She moves to the door, "I'm going scouting. You should get some rest," She doesn't stay to hear your reply.
