She's Bringing Back...A Date?

Mandy held her books close to her bosom. This blond guy she was talking too had that look in his eyes that all girls know. The "I want you" look that guys get. Mandy was smiling back though. He seemed nice. He was polite and well spoken. He was laid back enough to be fun to talk to, but didn't seem like the kind who was a wild partier. He was exactly the kind of guy she figured she'd end up with one day.

So why didn't she feel anything about him?

It was the question she wrestled with in her head on the way back to her dorm. Oh, she enjoyed the conversation. She even gave him her number. But, she didn't really feel the thump in her chest that she remembered feeling even in high school when talking to a cute boy with that look in his eyes.

Then her pocket buzzed, taking her away from her thoughts.

"Hrmm."

She clicked her phone on. One text. Her eyes lit up slightly when she saw the name Angel at the top of the screen.

<Hey Mandy. I told you that sometimes I might need the room to myself. I have a date. You're going to need to stay away from the room tonight. Okay?>

Mandy froze in place and blinked twice. Angel had a date?
