The Incident

As you get yourself ready for your lessons you try to use the fireball jutsu and as usual there is a bright spark then nothing, no matter how hard you focus or chakra you seem to be able to gather at once which isn't much even on a good day it never seems to be nothing more than just a spark.

As you head out of your room you can hear the familiar cries of the village Shinobi chasing a certain knucklehead ninja through the village. "Well, Naruto is awake let's see how he gets to class today". As you head to said class another figure catches your eye, Sasuke your cousin even though you were never recognized you are still an Uchiha by blood. Sasuke notices you and disappears in a puff of smoke... a substitution jutsu leaving behind a note "You are no Uchiha"

When class finally begins Naruto has been led to class by 3 Shinobi and bound by ropes even this was actually a new feat for Naruto usually it's one or two but three and bound whatever he did to get the village up this morning must have been something big which it usually is when involving Naruto.

Today's lesson focused on the substitution jutsu now the basic substitution is to exchange where you are for somewhere else and for something usually a hunk of wood to take your place and receive the damage you would have however this like many other Jutsu's is not something you excel in.

Today, however, is different, today you will get this jutsu right and show Sasuke that you are an Uchiha whether he likes it or not. As you watch your other classmates perform this move some flawlessly (Sasuke,Ino.etc) others not so much (Naruto...Naruto) but eventually it is your turn and everything seems to be going great you got the signs down but your concentration is suddenly interrupted when you see that Sasuke is also doing the jutsu as you are which makes no sense to you he already had his turn however as you return to your jutsu two things happen one your substitution jutsu actually works you have substituted the hunk of wood for yourself, however, Sasuke's jutsu also took place the hunk of wood where you had been was now in your hands with an explosive tag kunai attached to it...BANG!!!
