The pet and the master

Narina woke up lazily from her sleep, she had slept on the couch, falling asleep with her mistress, she remembered as much, but her mistress was not nearby, she looked around and whimpered

"Mistress?.....Mistress?...Mistress?" But no answer was forthcoming. She ran from room to room, she sat down in the hallway and looked at the door, her eyes slowly filled with tears. Had her mistress left her? abandoned her? Was she a bad pet, or did her mistress just go to the store?

She looked at the watch 11:34 am, her mistress never was out at this times..

Narina fondled her collar, a diamond necklace sort of, just with a tag on it. She looked on it and read 'Belongs to Shiori Shi' she smiled softly. Narina loved her mistress so much....but where was her mistress?
