The Gates of Marla's Mansion

It was 2:30 A.M. when a beat up Blue Chrystler turned into the path that led to the Bernstroff mansion. It was far out on the edge of town on a grounds that stretched out for miles. Lisa drove and drove until she arrived at a gate.

She rolled down her window, in the process causing her to glance at her seat. She'd made a mess. The fabric was probably damaged. It was a good thing she didn't need a car anymore. She leaned out and spoke into the box at the tone.

"Hello? My name is Lisa Huang? I got an invitation to visit from Mrs. Bernstroff. Tell her I'm the..." Gook. "Girl from Mr. Napier's store."

There was a anxious wait before a robotic voice chimed in on the other end of the line.

"Come in."
