She's frustrated

Beth pretty much stormed out of the coffee shop following her tirade, leaving me little choice but to down my coffee and chase her.

I didn't really know what to say or do, so merely muttered an apology and walked in silence with her until we arrived at her house.

As she unlocked the door, I apologised again and started to leave, but she called after me.

"it's not even your fault Marcus, you don't need to apologise."

"then what's up Beth?" I asked, walking back towards her.

"it's so frustrating sometimes, listening to the things you get up to. Some of it is so passionate, so heat of the moment. I was wish I was in that position"

"that's it? Jealousy" I replied

"not quite" she smirked at me "I'd do things very differently. I wouldn't be clinging onto a relationship unless they knew exactly what was going on for a start."

"yea I know" I said looking down at my feet. I agreed with her completely, what I was doing was out of order. But I did actually like Tara, and I didn't want to split up.

"I don't think you do" Beth said, reaching out and lifting my chin so I'd look at her. "you're a good friend, and I genuinely worry about you. If this all goes wrong you'll get hurt as bad as she will you know"

I swallowed hard. I wished she hadn't touched me at that moment. It was like electricity across my skin, and as I looked into her eyes I felt the lust for her building.

"I guess I should just tell her we're through" I said, trying to divert my thoughts.

"Look, don't rush into breaking up because I said so. You need to think for yourself. Maybe talk to Becca or Casey about it?"

I nodded in agreement and Beth 0ulled me in for a hug. The electricity was back just like that.

"what exactly is it you're jealous of" I asked.

She pushed me away and sighed.

"I dunno, I have good sex. I just don't get pushed against the wall in a hallway out of pure lust. Even the spontaneous sex we had was.... Well, nice. Sometimes I want my ass slapped or a good cum shot or something."
