The Night Before The Auction

Hours later, you arrived with at the hotel. Or what passed for a hotel. The owner had rented the room to you for two months. That had costed less then 20 dollars total, so what was the harm in paying for a little extra? It was already made up, with furniture and decorations. None of it seemed quite expensive, but there was enough to live with. Including a somewhat worn matress.

"Swanky." You laughed. "So, what did you think of the market?"

Doe walked in behind you. She had been rather quiet until now. But, at times she was practically vibrating. There was a lot going on behind her eyes.

"It's perfect! It's exactly what I fantasized about!" Her voice took on a high pitched giggle.

"You're sure?" You scratched your head. Months later and it was still so difficult to find solid ground when it came to her fetish. "I have no idea what they do with the slaves they do here. You had your shots. But, I don't know what kind of treatment you'll have. Sanitation."

"It will be alright. I'm still a white girl."

"I know, but this is still a massive risk." You sighed. Your voice was flat. She'd come all this way. There was barely a fraction of a chance to talk her out of it. Still, you had to give her a final chance to opt out."I talked to the representative for the market. The kind of deal you want should be on the table. We sell you for one month, then return to the market for pickup. The government supposedly backs that kind of thing up. But, I can't say for certain how the process works behind the scenes. It's possible someone tries to cheat the system."

"If you really don't think it's a good idea, I suppose we can go back and think about it more." She said while nodding slowly. Still you could actually hear the energy dry out from her voice. "I would only do this with your support, John. You know that, honey."

"No. I just wanted to get that out." You closed your eyes and inhaled. "If you're ready to go ahead tomorrow, then that's what we should do. Tomorrow is the day."
