Jackie has plans.

"Because, Ellen. Because it feels good," she responded, and kissed her again, and she responded. Ellen was wearing a musky perfume, and it was driving the brunette crazy. Jackie’s tongue sought Ellen’s and hers sought Jackie’s. She wasn't fighting the brunette at all, wasn't pulling away from her. Jackie thinks that she was still confused about what they were doing.

Lord knows that she was new at this seduction thing, but Jackie also knew how badly she wanted the blonde. She decides to change her tactics and try a more subtle approach, so as they finish off the last of the wine coolers in the refrigerator, Jackie suggests, “Why don’t we sit on the couch for a bit, and then I can give you part of your present tonight.” Ellen agrees, and is very curious but excited about what it may be that Jackie might be giving her.

As they sit down on the couch, Ellen is handed a Christmas card for her to open; she opens it, reads it a couple of times to make sure of what she is seeing, and is quite surprised to see at the bottom the signature “Love Always, Jackie XOXO.” Ellen finishes re-reading the card, and then looks at Jackie wondering if what she read is for real, or what.

As she looks at Jackie to ask her friend a question, she feels one of Jackie’s hands on her thigh, and a soft sensual kiss planted on her cheek. Jackie looks at her blonde friend, saying, “That card is saying thank you for being there when I needed someone to lean on for help.”

Ellen is taken back a bit by the contents of the card combined with the kiss, but she figures that Jackie is just showing her gratitude. Ellen ends up replying, “Well…that is what friends are supposed to for – right?”

Jackie smiles at her blonde friend rather nicely, and then says; “I would like to show some appreciation by giving you a shoulder and back rub.” Ellen has been rather busy all week – working and trying get her Christmas shopping done – Jackie tells her that she does seem a bit tense.
