Chapter 56 by daciasdesire daciasdesire

What did Yui get me?

A very fine grey suit.

I had completely forgotten that the entire purpose of coming to Yui's office was to get changed. Lawan and Dawn interrupting us, as well as just Yui herself, had left me struggling to keep track of everything in my mind. I take the clothes bag from Yui and unzip it along its side. Opening it, I take out an extremely fine grey suit of the most amazing wool material. I am a big fan of men's suits but the tailoring on this is beyond anything I could ever afford.

"Yui, this is incredible. You shouldn't have. I could have brought a suit from home," I say marvelling at her gift to me.

"I know but I wanted you to have something as amazing as you make me feel," Yui tells me bashfully.

"You are the greatest," I tell her before giving her another tender kiss.

"Now enough of that, or we're going to end up on this desk again and I don't want to get caught twice in one day."

I do as Yui commands and start to get dressed. Yui has included a crisp white linen shirt, along with a black leather belt and immaculately polished black leather shoes. All of which is exactly my size. The suit jacket fits snug and with a single button done up shows off my toned physique and shoulders admirably. Just as I think I'm all dressed Yui pulls out one last thing. It's a thin tie that is an exact match to the pink of her dress.

"I sewed this for you myself. I wanted us to match when I showed you off. If its a little wonky its because I'm not very good at sewing," she explains as she lifts up my collar and ties the long strip of material around my neck.

"I didn't know you could sew. Is there anything you can't do?" I ask, amazed at this incredibly talented girl who seems to like me so much for no good reason I can work out.

"I can't properly. That's why my parents were over. I had to get my mother to help me," Yui explains.

"So you told your mum about me? She knows I'm an Aussie? How did she take it?"

"She... understands and... accepts my choices. My dad when he finds out... probably not so much. There finished."

Yui has the tie done up in a neat Windsor knot and rests her hand against my chest for a moment before once again snapping back into her whirlwind of energy self.

"Right, let's get to the dining hall before were any later than we should be," Yui instructs me as she leads the way from her office and out into the school grounds.

The dining hall is near to the boarding houses that the girls that don't have parents living near the school stay in. Its a long thin building with a curved roof that looks big enough to fit near three hundred people in comfortably but tonight is decked out for no more than one hundred. small square tables that seat four people are arranged around a long table that I can see approximately a dozen nuns sitting at in a line. A female version of the last supper springs to my mind upon seeing them all lined up.

Across the far side of the room, I can see Lawan and Dawn waving at us for come join them at their table. Two empty seats kept for us as promised.

Yui waves back at them to let them know that she's seen them before saying to me, "come, I have to introduce you to Mother Superior Constance first. I think you'll really like her."

Yui leads me to the table of nuns and to an elderly lady sat in the middle. She is dressed in the traditional black and white habit with a long rosary hanging from around her neck. What is most shocking to me is the pair of facial tattoos the sister has. A burst of stars above her right eyebrow and a trio of teardrops under her left eye. Still, the older nuns eyes are alive with good spirit as I am led before her.

"Sisters, Mother, I would like you to meet my gentleman friend," Yui says as she introduces me to the table.

Mother Superior Constance stands and extends her hand out to me. Not know if I should kiss it or not I elect to shake it which seems to be alight by the Mother Superior.

"Miss Yui, It's wonderful to see you here with such a fine and handsome young man," Sister Constance says to us.

"The pleasure is all mine. You have such a wonderful school," I say to the sisters in greeting.

The Mother Superior beams back at me and places her hand on my check, "and such a beautiful smile on him too."

"I believe it was Mother Theresa who said, 'Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing'" I tell the sister a little quote I had rehearsed for just such an occasion.

The table of nuns breaks into a chorus of whispered chattering at that. An impressed look on the Mother's face as she says, "Well I hope you keep that smile just for miss Yui."

"Indeed I do."

"Well don't let us old fuddy-duddies keep you from your friends. Go on and have a lovely night," Mother Superior Constance says as Yui and I head off to join Lawan and Dawn.

As we walk Yui leans into me and whispers, "where did you get that Mother Theresa line from!"

"Hey, you not the only one that does a little homework for tonight," I say conspiratorially. "You think they liked it?"

"Like it? Loved it! They wanted to marry us on the spot," Yui jokes to me as she slips her hand into mine as we thread our way through the tables.

"Good. I wanted to make a good first impression for you."

"Incredible first impression! You pretty much would have made my panties drop on the spot if I was wearing any."

Laughing at Yui's crudeness we come to Lawan and Dawn's table and sit ourselves down. The girls break apart their huddled gossiping as we arrive.

"Have fun up in Miss Yui's office did you?" Lawan asks.

"He was simply helping me to do up the straps on my shoes that's all," Yui tells Lawan.

"And did he help you get your underwear back on too?" Dawn asks.

Yui cuts her question down with a stare before all three girls burst into giggling.

"Don't be silly Dawn, you know I can't wear any in this dress," Yui says after they have finished laughing.

As the girls talk I take a moment to look around the room. I can see something like fifty senior girls and maybe another dozen teachers. I am also rather surprised to see a good number of young men in with the students. I had assumed the school was girls only.

"I thought St Magdelene's was an all-girls school," I ask Yui during a break in conversation.

"It is," she informs me.

"But there seems to be a lot of boys here?"

"Mother Superior Constance encourages the girls to be treated as young adults, that includes inviting their boyfriends to nights such as these," Yui explains to me.

The treating the girls like adults is further emphasised as servers start to bring around bottles of wine, pouring for teachers and students alike.

"The wine is a special treat just for this graduation dinner," Yui says, reading where my mind is going. "What did you think of Constance by the way?"

"She seems lovely. I see what you mean about the nuns being cool. I couldn't get over the tattoos on her face!"

Yui leans in to give me some choice gossip, "Its rumoured she has a lot more on her body but you can never see them and that she used to deal **** back in South America before she became a nun."

I am shocked. I had always assumed nuns had a nice wholesome life and never would have imagined such a thing. It goes a long way to explain their worldly views on a lot of things Yui has told me previously.

The waiter makes his way to our table next and pours a glass of white wine for Yui and I before being refused by the two girls.

"Not feeling so well?" I ask, knowing full well that they must be turned off **** for the time being after the other night.

"No were feeling a little sick that's all," Lawan says to me with no mention of turning up at my work and me taking them back to Piya's house to recover.

Wait, do they not remember it was me that looked after them that night? What else don't they know I wonder?

What happens at the graduation dinner?
