Wake up

Kyas eyes opened with a sting as the sun pouring through her window blazed her face. Usually, Peter would be there to block the onslaught of sunrays, but he wasn't there today. With a growl and sigh, Kya rolled to her side to regain her bearings and collect herself. She probably could have slept for quite awhile longer.

Rolling to place her feet on the ground, she finds her slippers. Kya lets out a ginormous yawn before standing up, and grabbing her light pink robe. She wrapped it around her wrinkled and jumbled up lingerie and proceeded to go look for her fiancee.

As she reached the stairwell, she was greeted with the intoxicating aroma of sizzling bacon and the sounds of eggshells being cracked. With a smile., she proceeds to the Kitchen to see Peter cooking. Kya approaches him, and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "Morning honey. what's all this?" She asks.

"Well, you know how distant things have been.. something hasn't been right, and I want to show you that I'm trying." Peter said, flipping his bacon. A smile broke over Kyas face, but it didn't remain for long as Peter continued. "I mean, somebody has to fight for this relationship. I understand you're working along, but is that any reason to neglect our relationship?" He asks, unable to see the absolute fury on his fiancee's face.
