Through the skylight

With a gulp and shaky hands Janet pulled out her mask. She was dressed in street clothes, but she might as well conceal her identity. Then, with a knot in her stomach, she entered the nearest apartment building. The whole trip up the elevator to the roof was anxiety ridden blur. It didn't hit her until she was standing at the edge of the building rooftop. She was actually doing this! She crept to the roof's edge. Vertigo hit her as she peered over the ledge. There was her goal, the roof of the bank. It appeared to be miles away. She couldn't do this! But then she thought of all those people in danger. She had to do it.

So, taking one last deep breath, Janet braced herself. Then... she jumped. Biting her lip to prevent screaming she fell three stories. She landed on the roof with a THUD! dust flew up and the ground was cracked, but she was okay! She really was invulnerable, or close to it!

Looking down she saw that her shoes were demolished. Well, she was invulnerable, what did she need shoes for? She took a moment to unlace them and kick them off. Now barefoot, she crept over to a skylight. She could see the hostages, all gathered in a circle. Near them was a large bomb. Looking towards the door she saw Cutlass and recoil yelling at the cops with their backs turned. She felt the edge of the skylight. There was a lock on it, but with a small strain she snapped it. Smiling at her strength she eased it open. Now she just had to drop down three stories (which she hoped wouldn't kill her), and free the hostages or try to disable the bomb. All the while hoping that Cutlass and Recoil didn't notice her.

Yeah, some plan. But she had to help! So, biting her lip nervously she steeled herself, then jumped down, flying towards the crowd. It took all her will to not start screaming like crazy as the ground flew at her!
