Cathedral

A certain mischevious -- and perhaps even evil -- voice inside you tells you to head down to the big cathedral downtown. Part of you thinks that you will walk the thin line between blasphemy and sacrilege, and the rest of you knows that you will likely jump quickly over both. It is a thrilling thought.

The church is large and old, but very well maintained. It is somewhat of an anomaly in that while they maintain many old traditions, such as the wearing of ornate garments, the burning of incense, an on-site school and nonnery, and the like, they are also somewhat forward thinking in their acceptance of homosexual relationships and female ministers.

You pull in to the parking lot outside the main building, the cathedral, and survey the grounds.
