Leia is left there and to watch as C-3PO and R2-D2 are dismantled by the jawa's to carry them easier.

Leia watched in desperation as she saw the group of Jawa's begin dismantling the two droid's in order for the small creature's to carry them away better.

R2-D2 was dismantled bit by bit by the jawa scavenger's managing to dislocate its leg's from its circular body which were the first to go and then next came the blue and silver astromech droid's head which after it was removed from its body. Leia watched in horror as the jawa's used some kind of tool's to safely remove the wiring that was attaching the droid's head to the torso and soon R2-D2 was without a head or leg's and was dismembered into four part's. She was worried had the jawa's just caused the **** Star plans to be wiped from R2's memory banks?

C-3PO didn't fare any better as the moment the jawa's had finished dismantling R2, they began with the golden protocol droid and the procedure took longer than it had with R2-D2 but eventually C-3PO had his head, arm's and leg's all detached from its torso and now joined his fellow droid companion in a state of disrepair.

After a few moment's the jawa's began collecting up the dismantled parts of C-3PO and R2-D2 and with a great deal of effort at least two jawa's began dragging each of the dismembered droid components through the sand and back towards their sandcrawler where they would reassemble the two droid's and put them up for sale and leaving the paralysed Princess Leia behind on her own lying in the sand.
