She can keep this clean

“OK then” Laurie replied. There was nothing wrong with a bit of Truth or Dare if she kept it steered away from dirty topics. Plus, Dan and Josh were definitely not her romantic type (too loud and sport obsessed), so she could reassure herself there was nothing disloyal going on.

“Since this was your idea Josh, you can go first” said Dan. "Truth or Dare?"

"Truth" Josh replied.

Laurie spoke quickly, before Dan could pose a smutty question: "Who was your first kiss?" To her surprise, Josh immediately turned bright red.

"Oh man..." he sighed, covering his face with his hands "This is so embarrassing".

Laurie and Dan smiled at each other. "Your idea Josh. No backing out!" Dan said.

With a sigh and a wince, Josh began to explain:

"So I was a teenager, at some uncle's wedding.... There was loads of people I didn't know, and I got talking with this really, really attractive girl about my age - long, curly hair, dark eyes - and we snuck off after the ceremony and made out in the bushes behind the marquee. We were kissing and... we were kissing for ages, and then, when we heard the call for dinner, we walked into the big tent..."

Josh paused to groan

"My dad sees us walk in and says 'Joshua! I'm so glad you've met your cousin!'"

Laurie and Dan burst into laughter. Josh rolled his eyes, and as they collected themselves, poured out glasses of wine to replace the beer they had finished.

"Har-har guys. But if I hear that story back from anyone else, I know it came from one of you, OK? Let's keep all of this on the down-low tonight, OK?"

As he sat down, he turned to Laurie: "Your turn now. Truth or Dare?"
