"Not bad", Jessica thought to herself. If they were playing regular poker, it might even have a chance of being the winning hand!

Jessica got rid of the 4, & drew another Jack! When the other players revealed their hands, Jessica revealed her full house with a broad smile.

Denise ended up with the low hand (a pair of 7s) &, half-smiling, removed both her open-toed heels, held them up for perusal, & then unceremoniously tossed them in the corner.

That act reminded Jessica of the rules: Shoes were 1 item; Belts, jewelry & accessories didn't count as items of clothing.

Since Jessica had won the hand, she also won the deal.
