She smiled at you in gratitude. “I was driving a horse and cart on a road not far from here when I was ambushed. I ran away and that’s when that hobgoblin jumped me.”

“By yourself?” You look at her shockingly blue eyes as she looked back at you.

“No not by myself. That bastard Thorning ran off as soon as there was trouble, he was supposed to protect me.”

You nod slowly glancing down at her torn blouse that was exposing much of her breast, almost to the nipple.
