Double Battle

As you walk down the the route you soon come across two cute Picnickers sitting on a blanket, chatting with each other about something. Soon one of the two notices you and hops up with a smile plastered on her face ready for a battle. The other female trainer doesn't seem nearly as energetic for a battle and slowly pushes her self up. The really energetic one turns to you and happily says.

"You shall be our next victim!" She says in a bit of a playful tone. You give her an odd look as her friend seems to sigh.

"Mindy, please stop calling our opponents victims." She seems pretty exhausted and judging by the excited giggles from the trainer you now know as Mindy, the other girls exhaustion seems a bit justified. Her friend then stops giggling and starts to speak.

"Okay, Cindy, sorry." She then turns back to you, "So what do you say, want to have a battle?" Now that the two have stopped chatting you finally get a look at them. Both of them look pretty similar to one another, so much so that you think they might be siblings. The only real difference is Mindy's brown shoulder length hair is tied back in a ponytail while Cindy's hair is blonde and hanging loose. You then shrug before nodding at the two of them. Seems that makes both of them smile though and soon the two of them toss out their Pokemon. Mindy soon tosses out a Spearow and Cindy tosses out a Pidgey. You kick yourself mentally for not picking up a Pikachu in Viridian Forrest or a Geodude in the Mt Moon. Too late now as you toss out your Poliwhirl and Sandshrew to fight the two.

The battle goes alright for no one having any time advantages but the battle helps you realize that you should try and keep a diverse move pool among your Pokemon. Once Poliwhirl evolves Ice Punch should be a good addition. You shake your head from your thoughts as you then focus back on the fight. Seems like Cindy and Mindy, despite challenging you to a tag team match, they aren't that great at fighting together and that's really saying something given how your Pokemon aren't really used to working together. Eventually you have Poliwhirl and Sandshrew take down the Spearow and Pidgey respectively. The two birds then pass out in a pile. You soon return your two Pokemon after saying good job to them and pocket the pokeballs. Mindy falls down to her knees dejected as Cindy just slumps a little.

"We usually just have to hit them a couple of times..." Mindy mumbles out sadly. You then walk over to the two of them and say what their problems are. Both of them look up at you as you then say that if they want to keep trying double battles then they need to start working together more and that they need to not just rely on pure strength alone. As you explain that to them, it dawns on you that this little things in battle seem to come really easily to you. Maybe after this journey is over you could help teach some future trainers improve. Then again that means you can't get laid that often then, so maybe not that. Once you finish telling them all of that they nod and Cindy helps Mindy up before they start digging around for money.
