What you never saw at work

The mist swirls around your eyes. Off to the right the shower just stopped.

"Rach if you're still in here can you hand me a towel please?"

Your shocked. This is Miss It Is Nothing We Haven't Seen Before, but you hand her the towel. Jen wraped the soft towel around her body and slowly steped out of the glassed in shower. What you never saw on her before was a dark spot on her bare sholder.

Is that a bruse? She turned around and the spot spread before your eyes. Yeah no question now.

"Jen."

She looked up at you slowly.

"Is that what I think it is?"

She nodded.

"Did your boyfriend... hit you?"

You could see the tears welling up in her eyes. She nodded. You picked up her hand off her thighand walked her to the bedroom.
