Lt. Tom Paris had gotten the stones in a box he had bought on a planet full of surprises. Once scanned for anything dangerous, he took the box and the stones to his quarters. He had the perfect idea for them. He was creating a new item for his Captain Proton program, and he was working the stones into it.
'The Gauntlet of Unlimited Power is the perfect item for the story. I could have the computer create one from holograms, but why not have a real one as well? Just have to get the computer to replicate the design I want and add the stones to it. Something retro-futuristic?' he thought to himself as he used the computer to make the glove's design.
He soon had a metallic glove which he would be using as a prop, sized to allow for the maximum people to wear since the technology he had used had allowed for sizing for any kind of five digit hand. The glove was a metallic yellowish-white since his program was a black and white one. He wore it to test it out before taking it off to adding the stones on the back of it, setting them in a hexagon pattern on the back of the hand.
