Stand your ground

I decide to stand my ground.

"Babe that'd really defeat the purpose of coming here to be alone" I said.

"We'll have the rest of the vacation to be alone baby! Pleaseeee?" She replied.

I sigh, "I'll think about it" I say, knowing damn well I'm not even going to consider it for a second.

"Yay! Thanks baby!" She cheerfully says.
