Run!

You spin around and bolt, your legs churning as adrenaline floods through your body. Your only thought -- no, not even a thought, an instinct, a primal driving **** -- is to run, to flee, to escape. Nothing else matters. You just have to get away.

You hear gravel crunching behind you, the rasp of a heavy breath, and then something crashes into you, knocking you into the air. Arms and legs flail wildly, then you hit the ground, driving the breath from your body as you roll twice and come to rest against the trunk of a tree. Pain lances through your torso as you gasp, **** on grass and leaves, gray blobs flashing across your vision as your head continues to spin.

"Stupid human," a fearsome voice snarls. "I told you not to move."

"Wh- what...are...you?" you gasp, clutching at the smooth trunk of the tree as you struggle to get up. A furry hand grabs your shoulder in a vice-like grip and shoves you back to the ground.

"I'm a monster, an animal, a genetically-engineered mistake," he growls, his hands moving to the buckle of his belt. "Your kind has been telling me that since the day I was born. I was raised in a cage, beaten, starved, treated like shit my whole life. I know none of that was your fault. Hell, you don't even have any idea what I'm talking about. But that's not going to stop me from making you pay for what they did."

You watch in horror as he unbuckles his belt, then unbuttons and unzips his pants.
