She's thrilled

"What? Really?" she says, surprised.

"Yeah, it would be crazy, right?" you answer, thinking that she doesn't like the idea.

"Crazy? I think it's a wonderful idea. We are going to have so much fun."

You are not entirely convinced that this is a good idea; part of you hoped Margaux would say no, just to be able to not go to the party. The other part of you is cautiously optimistic, but not enough to be sure about it.

Margaux senses your hesitation. "What's the problem?" she asks.

"I don't think this is a smart thing. Me, going to a party as Jess? There will be guys there, and they'll flirt with me. What am I going to do?"

"Flirt back?" she jokes.

"Margaux, this is serious!" you explain. "When I first turned into Jess, I almost let Andy fuck me. What if I get drunk and I have sex with a man?"

"If this is what you are worried about, I promise I will keep my eye on you and prevent you from doing anything too stupid. Now, go tell Amy we are going to have our girls night out."

Your doubts eased, you hug Margaux and then get out of her room. Now, knowing she will have your back, you are actually looking forward to blow off some steam and enjoy the perks of being a girl for a night.
