Chapter 28 by darkchill
Where do you wake up?
With Aimee and a doctor
Light flickered through your closed eyelids and dragged you back from your unconsciousness, and you came blinking from your blissful oblivion into a small examination room. Somebody was holding your hand, and there was an unfamiliar older woman standing in front of you. As you woke, she stepped back from you, putting away a small penlight. You looked around, still a bit bleary.
Aimee was with you, concern etched in her face. She looked terrible, with a pink hoodie zipped up over her wet clothes from earlier and her makeup showing signs of recent tears "Stefi!" She cried out as you looked up, "are you okay?"
Were you okay? You tried to remember what had happened to you. You'd been hired, and you were horny, and you'd... Called Aimee for help. You'd gone to... a club... And then...
"Where am I?" you asked, feeling a dull sense of horror as the details came back.
You had met a guy at the club, and then you'd gone home with him. You had sucked his penis... his cock. And then you'd had sex with him in the pool. Really hot sex... But you'd cheated on Greg, again.
*You had so much fun!* The voice said. That dumb voice was ruining your life!
"You're at Cedar Springs Urgent Care, Stephanie, we'll get you sorted, don't worry." The woman who spoke wore a small name tag that said 'Carol Fisher,' and had a grandmotherly face that seemed out of place on a body under 50. "Can you tell me if you've taken any **** recently? Our toxicology lab won't finish with the sample we sent them for a few hours."
The situation was getting very out of hand... ****? "No, I don't think so. I've been under a lot of pressure with moving lately, and I had a few drinks last night."
Aimee nodded next to you. "I've been with her most of the night."
Carol seemed skeptical, but her voice softened in understanding. "Well I hope you'll take it easy, and get lots of rest. Would you like me to set up any counseling for you?"
Your mind was still fuzzy, but latched onto this offer. "Yes! That would be excellent, thanks."
Carol nodded and said something, then stepped outside.
Aimee squeezed your hand beside you. "Sorry baby, this is all my fault. We never should have gone home with Jonas." Her face was still beautiful, even with her eyes red feeling recent tears.
"It wasn't your fault, Aimee," you half-lied, "I had a great time. This is all..." You gestured to yourself, the world in general, and to her, "...a lot to take."
"You really kinda dove into the whole cheating thing," Aimee allowed sagely. "You okay?"
"Yeah," you nodded, "I couldn't really help myself... what happened after I... passed out?"
"Well, I yelled at Jonas, thinking he'd **** you or something... You were *so* out of it, Stefi! Anyway eventually Nikki and I gathered your things and Jonas' driver took you here while he drove my car here, too."
"This conversation is so surreal." You smiled, and Aimee returned it warmly.
"So Carol will set up a counselor for you... I guess." A silence hung in there from after Aimee's words, and you started to feel more yourself. You weren't as horny now, the room wasn't spinning at all.
"Yeah. I think I need one. Aimee... Thanks for taking me here and stuff. You're..." You paused, thinking. What exactly was Aimee to you? She was definitely your friend, maybe a new lover? You'd slept with her once and partied with her every day since you'd met. She was married though, and so were you. And she'd said nothing about her own feelings. But she'd argued so viciously at Jonas...
"I think you giggled something about 'best friends' at Jonas' place, baby," she supplied, and hugged you. The hug felt good, and you returned it, enjoying the feel of her soft body against yours.
You kissed her, looking up into her eyes. "...more than friends, I think." You said finally.
She squirmed, giggling a bit, and made agreeable noises, then pulled herself together with effort. "So what now? It's super late, or maybe early? I could take you home, but I think Greggy would freak! We could go back to my place... or I could take you to a hotel if you don't want to do that."
You considered your options, then said...
What do you say?
