"Um... I guess." Sam says slowly, not entirely certain what Shelly's reaction will be, or the others back at home for that matter. The thought of the people back at the house suddenly brings unwanted images of Mike and James into his mind, knowing that he's been intimate with both of their partners tonight, how can he possibly look either of them in the eye tomorrow morning?
Sam is so lost in thought that he's shocked when suddenly Emma, back in her dress, links her arm with his, and then Monica grabs his other arm, wearing a badly done up coat that shows she's still naked underneath.
Arms linked with the two women Sam makes his way outside and after passing the bouncers he spots Shelly waiting for them at the curbside. "We're set." he says, forcing himself to sound chirpy.
Shelly smiles at him momentarily and then spots Monica on his arm and frowns. "The van's this way." She says slowly.
The four of them make it back to the van in silence and as they finally reach it Emma opens the back door, rather than the cab.
Sam watches her walk in, Monica close behind her, and realises he's left alone with Shelly outside for a moment. Now could be a good time to talk about what happened, but is he really that brave?
