"Dana tried to ignore it, then tried to change Maya, then gave up on her. Maya is 18, and she's an adult."

"Shall I send her over?"

"Um, sure, when?"

"How about first thing tomorrow morning, say 9 am?"

"Sounds good."

Matthew hung up and went back to find Maya straightening the couch cushions. "Maya, great news!"

"I got you a job. It's perfect for you!"

"Tomorrow morning you will go to my friend Larry's house and clean for him. You need to wear this outfit."

"Um, that is perfect!"
