You decided to chance letting her drop in on you.

"Well if you're sure you want to run the risk of catching whatever this is, sure. I've got some pills from the Dr, so maybe I'll be feeling a little better by the time you turn up." Smoothly done, you thought to yourself. "Fingers crossed anyway. I can't promise I'll look sexy when you get here though."

"Oh don't be silly, you always look sexy."

"You know what I mean." she quickly followed up with before hanging up, obviously trying to cover for what she'd just said. You couldn't help it as a little smile crept across your face.
