White Queen: b5 to a4

She wasn't left very long to ponder the controller's plan.

"Queen b5 to a4."

She took the step diagonally backward and looked once more onto the field. With that single move, she was now protecting both of the knights. They could still be taken but it would either be an equivalent exchange or cost black their queen which she doubted they would go for as much as she would like to get her hands on her counterpart. The knight who she now stood in front of was admiring her backside causing her to smile. She would have let him fondle it a bit but with him atop his charger that would have been difficult. She paid no mind as black made their move. Nothing they could do would harm her after all.
