The two girls introduce themselves as Lila and Mei. The Arabic girl Lila does most of the talking as she seems happy with your question.
“Oh this Carnival exists for ages, they say it has been for a tradition of thousands of years. Our ancestors were entertainers out of Egypt and we slowly began to travel to new worlds. This is why we are so good, because it is in our blood“.
Lila talks with excitement while Mei is silent and just listens on.
Their story seems a bit forged as Mei clearly is not from Egyptian heritage.
