Into the Woods
Rather than chance the road, Alex decides to run into the woods. That'll make him harder to find. After a few minutes, Alex realizes it'll also be hard for him to find anything. The forest he's in seem endless. Still, there is no turning back now. If his former captors find him, there's a good chance they'll kill him. Plus he'll probably just get even more lost.
