Yes: Both Bodies

With an effort that relied more on terror than strength of will, Aaron **** himself back into control of both bodies, barely managing to retain consciousness as the vertigo hit him like a wall.

It was only after what felt like hours of tense concentration and laboured breathing that he was able to pull out of himself, opening his own eyes to make sure he was still in one piece, literally and figuratively.

Not wanting to go through something that intense again any time soon, he gingerly reached for the multitool again and separated his wrist from the back of Natalie’s neck, only for his vision to go dark and a sudden weight to slump against his back.

Opening Natalie’s eyes, he remembered that his soul was still in her body and so cutting the link meant losing control of his own.

Aaron was halfway through wriggling free when he heard another door – his parent’s door – open and two pairs of feet stumble downstairs to the kitchen. He had maybe half an hour before his parents would be caffeinated enough to come knocking.
