Alexis says "Hi"

Ryan sat there awkwardly, looking up at the clock. Twenty minutes soon passed, and the teacher still hadn't arrived.

"Fuck this..." he said to himself. "Should've ditched."

He looked over at Alexis, and noticed that she was walking toward him. She took the seat next to Ryan.

"What's up, Ryan?" she asked sweetly.

"N-not much..." he stuttered. "...You?"

"Oh, you know..." she smiled faintly. "Relationship problems. My boyfriend has been acting like an asshole lately, so I dumped him last night."

"Really?" Ryan said. "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry 'bout it." she giggled. "I never really liked him anyway."

"Then why were you--"

"Just a fling. That's all."

Ryan sighed. He shifted nervously in his seat.

"I did it because...well, I like...I like guys like you."

"Wha--?"

"Guys that aren't stupid; guys that have a sentimental side, yet keep a masculine-like attitude like you. Intelligent, kind, that sorta thing."

"...R-really?" Ryan was getting red.

"And...well, I'd like to get to know you more." she smiled. "Privately."
