brother mine

You awake feeling much better now that you've slept. You hear a gentle knock at your door. "Come in." Kyle peeks his beaming face around the door.

"Feeling better?" he asks softly. You smile and nod. "Good, I wanna play zombie killer 18!" he says barging into your room and fires up your onebox. Still feeling sticky you carry yourself to the shower.

Inside you let the cool water run over your body and close your eyes. Your mind drifts to the girls at the party and feel your headache return. [They were so mean.] you think absentmindedly as you soap up your body [Not like tom.] [He was a little pushy but maybe that's my fault. I practically teased him all night. No wonder he thinks I'm gay.] You imagine what his body looks like naked. You already know he's well hung. [What the fuck do I care if he's hung?!] your eyes snap open realizing your rock hard.

[The hell is going on?!] you think turning the water to ice cold. The cold helps shrink the swelling. [Okay, that was just from rubbing myself. That's all.] you tell yourself as you step out of the shower wrapping a tower around your middle.

You change and find kyle still playing his game. You really love kyle, he's such a sweetie and he idolizes you. He can be a pain but that doesnt stop him from being your brother. You spend the rest of the day playing with kyle when your phone dings reminding you of the date later. [Fuck that.] you think and continue playing, then you mother walks in unannounced.

"Did you set a time for dinner with your...friend?" your mother asks eliciting a groan from you. The way she said friend, you knew she meant boyfriend.

"We didn't really talk about it." you answer

"He was making him feel better!" kyle says suddenly

Your eyes went wide as you blush and look away from your mother hoping she didn't figure out what kyle didn't know.

"Well can you call him back and set a time?" she asks after a moment of silence. She undoubtedly knew!

"I..uh I'm supposed to see him tonight." you swallow hard. "For a movie."

"I WANNA GO!" your brother shouts as his man dies on screen.

"I don't think that your brother would want that. I'm sure they want to be alone." she says rubbing your brothers hair.

"How can they be alone if they're together?" he asks innocently, giving you a great idea.

"No, he can come." [if he's with us tom wont do anything and I can get this over with.]

"Are you sure?" she asks you.

"Absolutely."

Later you arrive at t he movie house and see tom standing out front. "Well hey there cutie." he says as he sees you. "And who's this?" he asks noticing your brother.

"I'm kyle." your brother says offering offering his hand like your parents taught him. Tom chuckles and takes his hand in his and gives it a shake.

"And will you be joining us little cutie?" kyle just nods. "Well then, I guess no icky romance movies huh?" kyle shakes his head.

You smile not wanting to see a romance movie either, especially not with your...friend. [Now I'm doing it, what the hell.] You shrug when tom looks at you, you can see a little disappointment on his handsome face.

Tom lets kyle pick out the movie, of course it's a cartoon.[Definitely nothing romantic about that] you think.

In line for popcorn tom keeps trying to hold your hand, when you flick him away he thinks your playing with him and starts flicking your hand back you go back and forth for a minute before stopping. A few seconds later tom takes your hand in his and you're too tired to resist. Holding his hand is better than starting up again. Kyle babbles on about the movie and how awesome it's going to be and how awesome the talking car is so of course it's great! You stay this way for awhile realizing once you've taken your seats you made no effort to break free even once you were given your drink. You even laughed at tom's clumsy struggle to get his wallet out and pay[OH MY GOD HE'S PAID FOR EVERYTHING!] you realize [this is definitely a date.] you'll admit you know nothing about the mechanics of a gay relationship but when one person pays for everything you consider that a date!

"I'm sorry." you say trying to apologize for not even offering to pay for your half.

"It's okay, kyle's a little cutie like his brother." he whispers and you blush. God why do you always react this way when someone compliments you.

"I meant-" he shushes you as the movie starts and he puts on his 3D glasses and gives you a big dorky smile which you cant help but laugh at.

The movie was actually good for a kids movie but you were still exhausted from the events from the day before. You rest your head on tom's shoulder. You shiver from the cold theater and feel tom put his arm around you. [Did he just kiss my head?] he did.

After the movie kyle was still pumped and running around like most of the kids when he spotted the arcade. "Can we go play?!" he begs you both.

"I don't think-"

"Sure we can, here." Tom hands your brother five dollars "Get us some tokens and we'll catch up okay?"

Kyle runs off before you can tell tom no. "Don't talk to strangers!" you yell impotently. "I'm sorry about him." you say walking slowly to the arcade holding tom's hand. "I'll pay you back."

"I know how you can pay me back." he says pushing you into a darkened corner of the arcade. You feel his hands rubbing your sides. You giggle. Damn you for being so ticklish. He thinks you're enjoying it as he kisses you again. This one was different from the first accidental kiss or the make out session at the party. This was slow and sweet but still intense. You feel him squeeze your butt.

"Tom come watch me kill zombies!" kyle shouts suddenly standing behind tom.

Tom turns and smiles at him. "I'll be right there." Kyle runs off back to the game, you breath a sigh of relief and receive a final kiss from tom before he follows your brother.

"How does this keep happening?" you say to no one as you follow suit.

After about five more dollars and twenty minutes of gaming later tom walks you both to your car. "Thank you." Kyle says climbing into your car with your keys. You hear music start up in your car.

"He's not gonna like, drive off is he?" tom laughs.

"No" you laugh a little "he knows how to turn the music on and that's about it. "I had fun." [despite the kissing] you think. Well actually you were beginning to enjoy that, at least he wasn't a terrible kisser.

"Me too." he smiled. "Maybe next time it'll be just us?" he asks. You believe he did have fun but really wanted to be alone with you.

"Next time?" then you remember "Oh yeah uh, about dinner I was thinking, well my mom was thinking eight."

"Sounds great, we'll eat at ate." he laughs at his own terrible pun.

"Well I should get go-" you're interrupted by another kiss, this one was full of passion and made you think of the party. You push him off, not sure what to think "I need to get him home. It's way past his bed time."

You turn and walk to the drivers side "I'll see you later cutie." he bends down to the open passenger window "And you, don't be a stranger okay?" he offers his fist to kyle and he bumps it with his own, tom 'explodes' his fist causing kyle to laugh.

By the time you reach home kyle is exhausted and you help him in bed "Do you love tom?" he asks climbing into bed.

"What?"

"You were kissing a lot and you're only supposed to kiss people you love right?" he asks innocently.

"I...like tom I guess but-" you realized kyle fell asleep before you could finish. You pull the covers up to his chest and kiss his forehead. Your mind full of thoughts. Who was that girl at the party? Did she know you? Did she tell others? What was with you and tom? Why do you keep kissing him? Why was it starting to feel good?

You were dreading what would happen at school tomorrow.
