Look closer.

Too curious to ignore, you look closer at the vine slowly making its way towards you. Its long, thin and moves with a slow serpentine grace.

You step back a few paces as it gets too close, stepping back into the open and away from the underbrush some. The vine continues to slide out from the bushes and onto the rubbery grass.

Despite the sinuous appendage making its way towards you its very nature seems to entrance you. Instead of fearing it or even cautious, to slowly drop to your knees to continue staring at it.

It seems to come to a halt about a meter away from you, you can see the head of it is flared out a little at the end and tapered somewhat.

The edge of it slowly lifts off the ground to point at your face before exaggerating its serpentine like movements, slowly waving back and forth. Somehow you know this weird vine means you no harm.

You drop to your hands and knees on the black grass and reach out slowly towards the vine.

As if sensing your approach, the vine definitely reacts.
