Cut your losses and find the young waiter

You finally admit to yourself that your date is not coming. You sigh in exasperation and disappointment.

You suddenly remember the offer the young waiter gave you just moments ago and decide to take him up on it. You search for him in the restaurant and see him serving a couple a few tables away.

You wait for him to look up and once he does, you try and grab his attention by smiling affectionately at him.

It works and he winks back at you, mouthing, "I'll be right with you."

You smile to yourself and wait for the waiter to make his way to you. While waiting, you finally have a good look at the young waiter. He was that not tall - maybe 5 feet and 9 inches at most - but he stood confidently and had good posture. He had the most amazing blue eyes and short, cropped blond hair. His face wasn't that remarkable but it was definitely handsome and clean cut. He looked very much like the typical boy next door. You couldn't really tell how his body was like underneath his uniform but you guess that he'd likely have a lithe, swimmer's body.

After delivering a couple of dishes to the patrons around you, he finally makes it your table.

"Your date ditch you?"

"Yeah. He stood me up, but silver lining is, I think I found someone a tad bit more interesting," you reply back playfully.

"Ows? And who might that be?"

You give him a lopsided grin. "I don't know. There was this brash young man who promised me a fun time. I don't know if he's still man enough to own up to his promises."

"I'm raring to go, pretty boy. Don't mistake my boyish good looks as a sign of innocence. I'm had my fair share of conquests."

"You're going to have to wow me," you tease him as you motion for him to follow you into the bathroom.
