Visit your boss

Mr Charlton was sitting in his office when you arrived. Your confidence had shot up since you got the amulet and straight away you sat on the chair facing him and put your feet up on his desk before he even had the chance to speak. "Mr Jackson get your feet off the desk now or your fired!" He shouted in disbelief.

"But anything I do in this office is normal to you." You say with smug satisfaction as the old prick went back to how he was when you arrived. "I heard you gave Zach a raise. Is this true?"

"Yes. He now earns more money than me at the company."

"Yeah well that's about to change. Zach now earns nothing while I get the salary he arranged for himself, understand?"

"Yes."

"Call me sir."

"Yes sir."

"Did he tell you to do anything else?"

"He told me to report to him what happens in the company and to make sure that I give you a hard time while you work here."

"That piece of shit!" You rage quietly to yourself. "From now on you don't report to Zach about anything. You've always admired me and respected me and I'm definitely your favourite intern while Zach's your least favourite."

You take your feet off the desk and stand up. "Give me all the cash in your wallet now." He empties the contents of his wallet into your hands and you scoop it up and transfer it to yours.

"I enjoyed this meeting." You say as you walk out.
