Meet a new nurse at Labor and Delivery

Jeannie Goodchild is in her office today. Though she's officially still out on maternity leave with Baby Gloria, she's come in to take care of a few things before she goes back home. Her new baby -- fathered by one of the brothers of Jeannie's wife Laura -- is sleeping in a handled car seat basket on the floor.

"Gloria, good to see you," Jeannie greets you. "I have a special favor to ask. There's a new nurse joining Labor and Delivery today. I was going to have Julie Paul let her shadow, but Julie called in sick" -- So that's what happened to Julie, you think -- "and I thought you'd be the best one to walk her through the routines here."

"Sure, what can you tell me about her?" you ask Jeannie.

Jeannie tells you briefly about the new nurse and says she'll be waiting in the locker room.

You introduce yourself and have a busy shift together, running the new nurse through the routines and a few little mix-ups during your shift, until you have time for a break together.
