An Ambusch. (Main Storyline)

Without any precautions, Supergirl flew low over the streets of an abandoned industrial area, hurrying to the warehouse where her sister was last seen. It had been two days since her sister had vanished, and Kara knew that only serious trouble would have kept her super-agent sister from staying in contact.

Despite her high speed, she suddenly started to notice the movements of people in the area. There were three groups of them, each one consisting of three people carrying large tubes. One group were atop a building in front of her flight path, while the other two were at her flank. They showed up quickly, without speaking any words that she could hear.

It took a while until Supergirl realized what they are doing. They all had a modified Russian SA-7, a weapon that she has seen much. It is funny how people always think that just because it works for a tank or a jet also works on her, she thought.

It was past nine o’clock at night. There are a three-quarter moon and no clouds. Then Supergirl heard suddenly how they start to call in. “She’s comin’.” That’s all. Expecting the rockets, Supergirl starts to look around, and sure enough, there are now several lights moving in the sky, coming her way. Having to experience human weapons against her many times, Supergirl just stayed calm, slowing herself down to embrace the impact.

However, it was not the rockets that have hit her, but a sudden green energy beam from the ground. It had hit Supergirl so fast that she has no time to react. The energy beam was extremely strong, so strong that all Kara could sense was the sudden pain, the flash and half a second later a loud boom. She was perfectly shot down, like a hunted animal.

Losing control, she has fallen and landed with a thud not 50 yards from the warehouse. The last thing she could remember before going **** is the sound of groups of men running toward her. Kara could sense how they were surrounding her, like a hunted animal before her mind has fallen into darkness.
