Illima Rematch (intro)

Author's Note: Oops, I did misspell his name, my bad. Anyways, the initial edit was when I was testing out the outcome of a certain question in this little side quest. In the end, it didn't really matter, so I just continued on with this.

Before heading to the Marina, you decide to stop by the mansion in Hau'oli City, which happens to be Illima's house. An old man notices you and stops you. "Hi, do you know Illima?" he asks you. "If you are, feel free to come in. Because he is the captain of the Verdant Trial, I wanted to ask, what do you think of him as one?"

Before you could give him a proper response, he quickly apologizes. "Sorry to ask you that question out of the blue, it's just I'm worried about my Illima. He was always into Pokemon battling when he was young, I was worried if this would interfere with his captain duties. Anyways, he's in his room upstairs." It shows that he isn't wrong about that, since some of his family members praise his skill as a Pokemon Trainer and mention that he was once called the Prince of the Trainers' School.

When you get to his room, he welcomes you. "Thank you for coming," he greets you. "And good timing, too! I've been trying out some new battle strategies with my Pokemon, and I think we should be good for the next challengers. I hope you don't mind me testing it out with you at the Trainers' School."

At the Trainers' School battle arena-like place, he says some words: "Now, I'm not too concerned about the results, I just want to see how my strategy can challenge other Trainers. How these strategies influence the outcome of battles interest me greatly. So, let's see how your strategy beats my new one!"
