Her courage gone, as well as her sense of direction, she eyed the forest as a wide-eyed scaredy-cat, her tender toes trembling on the soft Earth.

Unable to determine which way to go, she oscillated between wandering aimlesslessly afraid and sitting in anxious indecivesiveess.

While goblins were a right and proper nuissance their vulverability to fire made them quite easy to control.

The forest was like all forests were of the time, well managed. Timber was regularly extracted, and useful herbs were nurtured and supported.

Maids carried baskets to collect the wild mushrooms and other forage that supplemented their meager meals.

Odd looking trees that had been had chopped to grow long poles for numerous uses stood straight up. The underbrush had been cleared, and here and there were numerous glens of tender young shoots that the drew the deer the nobles hunted.

It was quite a pleasent place, in general, which served to undercut the naked girl even further. She couldn't make her way through a well tended wood of a hundred acres back to her own estate, which she often neared, but never seemed to recognize.

Her sword grew heavy, and the tip dragged and dulled upon the ground, cutting the dirt behind her, serving to show her she was going in useless circles.

Her belly was rumbling, her legs were tired, and Aurora just wanted to go home.

Suddenly it seemed, her prayers were answered!

She spied a wicker-work hut, covered in a foot of heavy thatch, with a cozy whisp of smoke coming from the top.

"Well, at least I might gain fire here, to fight the goblins. Perhaps even a garment, or a meal!"

Her tummy rumbled again.

"But they would see me, naked. They would know by my sword by my noble birth."

Aurora looked down, despondent, the bolted up with a beaming smile!

"But they won't recognize me! That's one benefit of my transformation!"

And she skipped off to the house.
