Episode 18: Intervention

You were at the Bialyian Temple with Impulse, BG, WG, Zatanna, Rocket, Robin III, Bumblebee, and a captive Blue Beatle. He had only just recently gained a Handle on his New Abilities, and in between Training sessions with Nightwing, Beast Boy, Bat Girl, Green Arrow, and Superboy you had spent most of 6our time locked in Wonder Girls Bedroom.

Though admittedly You knew her attractions had begun to shift towards Drake, and Yours ironically had begun to shift towards Zatanna and Barbara. The irony is Barbara like Drake and Dick has been a Member of the Bat Family, and Zatanna has been romantically Involved with Grayson.

Still as you awaited for the Inevitable attack by one or more Reach Beatles. And it came sooner than expected. Just as Impulse used his Super Speed to Swirl the Fire launched by BG and GB was left temporarily weakened before phasing through the Ground and came up behind to launch a Sonic attack, You decided to counter it with your own Attack. Unfortunately your Skill in the Use of your scarab proved to be Your Downfall, and you were left Groggy by the attack.

All of a Sudden Zatanna Commenced the Ritual, and Seeking to make sure that your Scarab was Off Mode, you jumped into the Summoning Circle. Finally you were certain that you free with absolute certainty. Still you felt as though you could can freely use your Scarab's Full abilities.

As you flew alongside Blue and Green and the rest in the Super Cycle, Blue wanted to know how they knew to free them. ''Bumble and I first came across it months ago on another Mission. I couldn't help noticing the Blue scarab Imagery, and recorded a holographic recording of the Symbols and Hieroglyphics. Doctor Fate was Able to translate some of it, but couldn't properly do so fully.'' Says BG.''Which was where I came in, As a Child I Spent many Years with my Father in Ancient Tombs of Ancient deities and the like. So I knew how to translate that which Fate Was Unable to.'' You Say. ''Which then revealed a Mystic Ceremony which the Ancients had used to cleanse the Scarab of Reach Control.'' Continues BG. ''So that's why my Scarab was Off Mode when I Found it.'' Concludes Blue. ''And Since the Ritual used Magic of Human Origin, Fate, a Lord of Order, Couldn't perform it, so he prepared me instead.'' Says Zatanna. ''Meanwhile Bat Girl and ai Got with the Hacking. Starting with the Computer Files of the Previous Blue Beatle, Ted Kord. Ted Kord's Files revealed that an Archeologist named Dan Garrett first discovered both the Temple and the Scarab in 1939, it would then fuse with him the way it fused with you. But Dan assumed it to be some Kind of Mystic Artifact and Used it to become the very First Blue Beatle of Modern Times. When Dan passed away, he passed on the Scarab to his Protégé, Ted Kord.'' Says Robin. ''But Kord quickly realised that the Scarab was Alien Technology, since he wasn't about to let an Alien fuse to his Spine, he locked the Scarab Away.'' Says BG. ''But Garrett Sstill inspired Ted to become the Second Blue Beatle, butnaith No Superpowers.'' Concludes Blue. ''I hear those are optional.'' Adds Robin.

''Anyway Ted Suspected that the Light wanted the Scarab back in play, so he tried to stop them from Stealing it, and Paid the Ultimate Price.'' Says Robin. ''And thats where you came in.'' Says Z. ''Guess I wasn't exactly what the Light or the Reach Had in Mind. But why Keep all this from me?'' Asks Blue. ''Because it took months for me to learn the Ritual, not to Mention Fate teaching me all the Incantations for the Magic.'' Explains Zatanna. After this you just go and Fly next to Wonder Girl and ignore the rest of the Conversation.

With the Missions done, it was now agreed that the Best Option for You and Wonder Girl was to Break up. Since it was mostly just Sexual Attraction between them, so it was just a simple matter for them to Break Up. So with yourself now single you hit up Barbara and started a Flirty relationship with her.

But there was something on your mind now, you were Black Tiger, and yet you Were also now in possession of the Red Beatle Scarab. So would you Stay as The Black Tiger or become the Red Beatle? Or Maybe something Else?
