Normally, Savannah didn't have a problem with being naked. In fact, she rather enjoyed it most of the time. But not under these circumstances; alone, with no help nearby, after dark, and with some creep out there who had stolen her stuff for a reason. So, looking for the creep who'd bogarted her clothes wasn't really an option. She'd be better off going back to the sorority house and finding everything she needed there.
Looking around nervously, hoping she wouldn't meet anyone while she was in this condition, Savannah stepped onto the path that led back to the Theta Tau house. Getting back to the house took her a long time, because the nervous girl stopped every few yards to hide behind the nearest tree and look around, searching as well as she could for any sign that she wasn't alone.
She was relieved to finally reach the Theta Tau house, which stood on a large, well-tended yard on the edge of the campus. It was a large house, three stories tall, and well over a hundred years old, with many small rooms, some of them well-hidden and some of them disused and forgotten. The lawn was large and relatively free of trees and shrubbery, which meant that Savannah was going to have to run the last 50 or so yards to the house with no cover.
Savannah spent some time nerving herself up, then stepped onto the lawn and started running. She kept her eyes on the front door, her goal, trying to ignore her feelings of vulnerability.
She reached the front door without any anyone noticing. Savannah turned away from the door and scanned the lawn and the trees beyond, once again satisfying herself that no one else was out here.
Satisfied, she turned back to the door, and reached down to the knob. She tried to twist it, but it wouldn't move.
"Shit." The door was locked.
What could she do? She didn't have her key anymore, so she couldn't unlock the door. She still had two choices, though: she could ring the bell, and wait for the house mother, Betty, to let her in, or she could go around to the other side of the house and break in through a small panel next to the back door.
