Vordt of the Boreal Valley

killing the Undead on the way down to the edge of the High Wall, you found a strange Sign etched into the ground at the bottom of a stairwell that led to the edge which you could now see at the end of a massive chamber through a pair of half closed doors entangled with vines, the summon sign had the Words inscribed SWORDMASTER on the sign "I can summon him as an ally?" this seemed to be a useful thing, he was a worthy opponent, and if you had to fight another boss he would be great help, touching the summon sign caused it to glow immensely, his form began to raise from the sign until his full form stood sword in hand before you, the Phantom gave a Bow to you of which you returned.

You and the Swordmaster entered the large Chamber ready for fight, you reached the large door on the other side of the room, which blocked the way, sort of confused you turned and looked back at the Swordmaster who pointed at the door, you touched the door.

behind you you heard the Boss appear, he was massive covered in armour he had a large mace and an Icy Aura covered his body and he Howled out loudly like Animal.

...Was that it? I could of just let the Swordmaster do that? that bit at the end with him charging about wasn't as easy but still, falling to the ground Vordt fell crying out as thousands of souls filled your body and the large door opened. Victory.

the swordmaster began to disappear giving a bow as he faded away, you turn to the doorway which nor revealed a broken path with a Cliff at the end "...the Edge of the Highwall" you said as you walked to the edge you could see the Undead Settlement bellow, brandishing the banner and lifting it up to the edge you waited, it was strange what was supposed to happen now-out of nowhere two large bat like creature landed in front of you and Grabbed your arms "What the- Get off of me!" you shouted kicking and screaming but the Large creature dragged you off the Cliff on each holding an arm and flying you down, after a small flight they arrived at a small structure, on it you could spot a bonfire.

without a sound these creatures dropped you safely at the bonfire, flying away as if nothing had happened.

you lit the bonfire, and began walking down to the stars in front of you, as you walked you hit your foot on something, looking down you realised it was a large bone, this bone had the image of a House inscribed on it and a a red ribbon wrapped around the end of it, you put it on your belt thinking it would come in handy later, walking down the steps you could a bunch of undead in front of a door.

Deciding fighting a hoard of undead didn't seem like a good idea so you went in the opposite direction, the bridge you were on was obviously part of the Highwall but was broken off how you didn't now, on the end of the broke bridge was a massive amount of dead, they looked like Pilgrims but you could hear someone talking, it sounded like he was praying, you walked over to see if he was okay, "Hello... are you okay sir?" he turned to you "Ohh… Ohh, then it’s true… A Champion of Ash, as I live and breathe. To be in your presence is a great honour. I am Yoel of Londor, a pilgrim as you can see, only…Somehow, I've failed to die as was ordained. Well, perhaps my calling lies elsewhere. Say, Champion of Ash, how does the idea of taking me into your service strike you? I was once a sorcerer. Surely I can be of use." he seemed pained and you were sure that he could help you "Very well..."

he seemed pleased "Ohh. I am honoured, truly. I should be dead, yet you have granted me purpose anew. I Yoel of Londor, do solemnly swear myself to you" he disappeared teleporting to the Shrine no doubt, turning to head in the opposite direction you saw a pack of Undead Dogs running towards you, one caught you by surprise jumping on you, you felt a crack on your left side and a strange sensation before you were thrown forward.

you were thrown onto the stairs roughly landing on your ribs, "Ashen One!" shouted the familiar voice of the Fire Keeper as she rushed over to you grabbing your estus and giving you a mouth full, you felt your body begin to heal "am I at the shrine?" the Fire Keeper cupped your face with her soft hands.
