A shy girl, like her

Sarah could see in the corner of the room, a small, mousey girl keeping to her self. "Maybe she could use someone to talk to?" Sarah thought to herself.

"Hey Jill, I'll be right back." Sarah told Jill, who gave her a thumbs up. She made her way over to the girl politely declining the drunken men asking her out.

"Hi, I'm Sarah." She greeted the petite girl. She was a skinny ponytailed Hispanic girl with glasses. "Gabriella." She told Sarah and shook her hand. "Finally, someone nice." Sarah thought.

"I thought you looked lonely. So I came over to say hi." Sarah explained. "Thank you very much. My roommate pretty much dragged me here, I just wanted to study." She told her. "Mine too!" Sarah exclaimed, happy to already by bonding with someone.

"Maybe with the two of us, guys won't be so eager to try and hit on us." She said. "Yeah. I've never even dated anyone before." Sarah admitted. "Oh believe me, college boys want to do more than date you, novio." Gabriella explained. "Like marriage?" Sarah asked. Gabriella laughed at her question. "How about we get out of here and go somewhere quiet? How about one of our dorms?" She offered.

"But what about our roommates?" Sarah asked. "They'll be fine. Parties are things for them, we don't belong here." She told her. She did have a point.
