Doug the Smartass

"Yeah. When can I just tell the guy quit being a little bitch?"

There's an awkward chuckle or two, not nearly as funny as Dave thinks it is with his kneeslapping and guffawing at his own joke. A sinister smile threatens to crack the the corners of Beatrice's mouth as she draws in a sharp breath.

"It's Doug, isn't it? Well. I can assure you that calling your coworker a little bitch will result in exhausting one on one sessions with me. Unless of course the company decides it's easier simply to fire you."

His face blanches just a bit and he's realizing he's on thin ice already. Yet in true Doug fashion, as everyone has had to see this far, he doubles down.

"Exhausting huh? Don't tease me sweetheart."
