Chapter 7 by amalgam amalgam

Choose a major? Or stay undeclared?

Major in theology.

Karl Marx said that religion is the opiate of the people. As poignant as the bromide is, it says nothing of the wide range of faiths in the world, from Baha'i to Judaism to Zoroastrianism. These institutions have the power to unite and divide, aid and exacerbate. With an area of study as historic, rich and prolific as this, you can count yourself in for a lifetime of learning.

Your classes have names like "Philosophy of Religion," "Religions of Abraham," and "Introduction To Buddhism." Nothing too unusual-sounding yet, but then there are also the electives "History of the Occult," "Cult Studies," and "Voodoo: Fact and Fiction" which you have yet to decide on.

Which of these do you choose as your elective class?
