Chapter 3
Which Pokemon to they pick?
The downside to picking Bulbasaur
Jenna picked Bulbasaur for three reasons. First, Bublasaur was easier to train than the other options and would level up quicker. Second, a grass type Pokemon would be most effective against the next two or three Gym Leaders, and after that she'd have a lot more than her starter. Third, and most importantly, she just liked the color green.
Red picked Charmander because fire beat grass.
"Hey, Slutface," Red said.
"Jenna."
"Whatever. Now that we both have Pokemon, wanna battle?"
Jenna eyed him. Red had always been a cocky little cock, but he wasn't nearly as clever as he though he was. Charmander might have the type advantage, but neither of their pokemon would learn any special attacks for a few levels. "Sure, why not?"
He grinned. "You know, I hear most trainers offer a prize as an extra incentive for the winner."
"Fine by me. How much do you want to bet?"
"Well, I don't exactly have any money on me."
"Cheapskate."
"But how about we decide that the loser …"
What does the loser have to do?
