Weigh her Options

Sona's mind raced trying to comprehend her situation. There was not a stitch of clothing in her home. She checked, Jinx had been very through, taking even her body towels and aprons. Anything that could even remotely be used as clothing. It had to be this week, of all weeks, for this to happen to her. Not only was there the regular weekly match, but she had two concerts scheduled as well.

Sona's first thought was that she could just stay in her house all week. She could always cancel the concerts, even if one was for charity, and while she would be penalized for missing a match, the consequences weren't that severe. However, she didn't have enough food to last her the whole week. In fact, she had planned on going grocery shopping today.

She could always send someone to get her food, and even clothes. She had plenty of money for a new wardrobe. But being mute, she had no way to communicate to someone. She would have to go find someone to help her, which would require venturing out as she was, totally bare save for the shoes she had been so generously left.

But as Sona thought of various ways out of the situation, another thought crept into her mind; what if Garen was right? The Demacians took honor and integrity very seriously, and thanks to the broadcast, most everyone knew about the ridiculous wager. If she were to back out of it, she ran the risk of losing social status, and even fans.

The thought of her fans lingered in her mind. She recalled her journey home last night, and how the few fans that had stopped her mentioned the bet. Some gave their condolences or were outraged, but some, to her chagrin, expressed their excitement and how much they were looking forward to it. In her heart, Sona was a preformer, and part of her hated to let her fans down when they expected a show.

She continued to contemplate her options, feeling the warm sun through the window on her skin.
