I panic and try to run.

I lost my boots somewhere in between here and the orc raid. The rocky ground wasn't hard to navigate when I was watching every step. It even felt good to be out in nature and have the dirt under my toes. Now the jagged edges cut into my feet.

I won't look back. I can see the tree line. My adrenaline is pumping. That animal is big and fast, but I think I can lose it in the woods. I found a decent path to the cliff edge and some good hiding spots. I can hide somewhere and double back for Em as it looks for me.

I can hear it thundering behind me. My confidence is slipping. I don't want to end up like Casey. I like my head!

If I can get only to the woods...
