Chapter 6 by dangerslut dangerslut

Its getting late.

Emma is having a good time wants to stay.

<<..._AAANNND ALL FOR THE CARPENTER'S WIIFE!!>> The place erupts into laughter. We had sung "The Carpenter's Wife" about six times throughout the night. It's a local favorite. Alfonz had taught us loads of dirty drinking songs that everyone else seemed to know by heart.

Emma had double sworn not to leave before she knew all the words. She refused to leave Alfonz's lap before succeeding.

"Lus...", her eyes dart side to side. "Who knows what happens if you break a double swear??" I want to laugh at her, but it occurred to me that I'm standing in a medieval tavern flirting with a dwarf.

I agree that she's prolly right. Best not to chance it. Jack has a room upstair she can stay in. He's apparently very close with the owner.

He and I head out into the night with a small lantern.

It's dark and not so obvious where the house is.
