Truth

"To be honest?" you say as the stranger takes a seat across from you. "I know the owner, and I bribed him."

"Mmm, you're naughty. I like that in a boy," the stranger says, leaning across the table.

"No, I don't think you understand. I'm just here because my friends wanted to be here."

"So?" the stranger says. "That doesn't mean we can't--"

He's interrupted by the arrival of the bunnyboy with your steak. Seeing the man, he says, "Oh! Are you dining here as well? What would you like?"

"No, he's not--"

"Yes, I'd like a steak as well," the stranger interrupts. "Tell the cook to prepare it how Blake Kinsley likes it. And some wine, also the kind I like. Oh, and put it on the boy's card."

"What are you doing?" you ask, appalled at the man's actions.

"What?" the man apparently called Blake Kinsley asks. "Your card is unlimited. And you just admitted you extorted the card out of someone else, so it's only fair that you share the wealth!"

"Look, I just want to eat in peace," you say as Bunnyboy brings over Blake's steak and wine. "Alone."

Grabbing the steak, wine, and card, Blake asks Bunnyboy, "Could you be back in 5 minutes?" Bunnyboy nods. "Look, if you don't want to sit with me, just leave!"

"This is my table, Blake, and that is _my _card you're holding!" You reach across the table to grab it, but he pulls it away from you.

"You want it?" he says.

"Yes, I want it!" you protest, reaching across again. Dammit, he's holding it just out of your reach, mocking you.

"Then you need to eat a meal with me," he smirks.
